Description
Siren Craft Brew exists to encourage more people to enjoy, fall for and experiment with craft beer.
The Sirens of Greek mythology would entice mariners with their magical songs. Their voices would entwine into a complex, layered melody. At Siren Craft Brew, we work in a similar way, combining four ingredients that interact together in magical ways to create our ales. Each beer is individual, overflowing with flavour, aroma and texture. Each holds its own secret. Each is a little dangerous.
Liquid Mistress, Under Current, Sound Wave and Broken Dream are here to tease, sway and persuade. They gently beckon you to a new world of taste. Let yourself be carried away. Be enticed…

Craft islington. Cask. Opaque black - brown beer. Tidy dark tan head. Palate is smooth and surprisingly light and airy. Very mild carbonation. Smooth and mildly creamy dark malt. A little dark chocolate. Very mild cinnamon, barely there. Chilli is nicely judged, some heat but not overdone. Finishes semi dry with Chilli warmth lingering.

Craft islington. Cask. Opaque black brown beer, good darkish tan head. Smooth and softish palate. Slightly viscous but also quite airy. Rich marlt, sweetish with a touch of dark chocolate. No real roast malt and a just a trace of coffee bitterness. The licorice comes through toward the end and provides even more richness. Dark fruits also develop along with mild alcohol spice. Finishes smooth and semi dry. A rich and complex beer which I really enjoyed, it just lacked the effortless drinkability of the very best Imperial Stouts, something it might of had on Keg.

Craft islington. Cask. Hazy amber beer, little white head. Palate is slightly viscous. Smooth, super fine carbonation. Mildly bitter and slightly resinous marmalade hops are shot through with a nice balance of lime and ripe mango. Finishes semi dry with a hop and lime bitter linger. A little alcohol spice in the aftertaste. Another very interesting beer but agaih I think this would have been better on Keg.

Craft islington. Cask. Clear amber beer, tidy white head. Palate is smooth and dry with mild fine carbonation. Interesting blend of citric hops and bitterish gin, there is a little herby like quinine here as well but I don’t think there is any tonic in here! Touch of dry fruity lychee and lesser generic fruits. Dry finish with some medium bitter linger. Tasty and original but I think this would have been better suited to Keg.
