Siren Craft Brew exists to encourage more people to enjoy, fall for and experiment with craft beer. The Sirens of Greek mythology would entice mariners with their magical songs. Their voices would entwine into a complex, layered melody. At Siren Craft Brew, we work in a similar way, combining four ingredients that interact together in magical ways to create our ales. Each beer is individual, overflowing with flavour, aroma and texture. Each holds its own secret. Each is a little dangerous. Tap @ Mikkeller, Stefansgade. Black with a tiny beige head. Aroma is sweet, roasted malt, loads of chocolate and notes of coffee. Flavor is quite sweet and moderate bitter. Dry and roasted moderate bitter finish. 280413

Cask at CBI, London on 9th March 2013. Clear copper with off-white lacing foam. Yeasty aroma with some fruitiness. Leafy hoppiness in-mouth; peach notes early, citric tingling kick and bread/toast notes. Bitterness developing in finish.

Cask at CBI, London on 9th March 2013. Clear amber with off-white loose foam and almost no lacing. Hoppy, slightly soapy aroma. Deliciously hoppy in-mouth with hard bitterness and citrus tang. Grass and grapefruit finish. Light mouthfeel and medium body. Great cask IPA.

From tap at Mikkeller & Friends. Pours black with a small tan head. Aroma is roasted malty and toffee. Bitter, roasted malte. Vague coffee hint, thick malty and dark malty. Thick and roasted dark finish.

From tap as Brown Dream, 6.7%, Søernes Ølbar. Pours pitch blach with small tan head. Roasted malty and chocolate. Bitter, light fruity and toasted malty. Solid caramelish and roasted. Lingering chocolate. Smooth malty, toffee, chocolate and mild bitter finish.8-4-8-4-16

From tap at Mikkeller & Friends. Pours hazy dark brown to black with a small white head. Fruity, grapefruity and light toasted malty. Smooth fruity, toasted malty and mild bitter. Crisp hoppy and dark roasted malty finish.

Draft. A pitch black beer with a thin brown head. The aroma has strong notes of coffee, combined with medium notes of roasted malt and chocolate. The flavor is sweet with notes of coffee, roasted malt, and bitter dark chocolate, leading to a dry roasted finish.

Draft. A reed beer with a beige head. The aroma has notes of spicy hops, malt, caramel, and grapefruits. The flavor is sweet with notes of caramel, hops, spices, malt, and grapefruits, leading to a bitter finish. Nice hop selection.

Appearance: Black as the deepest dungeon. A nice big beige head that leaves a fine lacing.
Aroma: Coffee and roasted dark malt.
Palate: Medium + body. Moderate sweet with a fine bitterness. Soft carbonation.
Taste: Lots of coffee, roasted malt and chocolate.
Overall impression: Soild stuff. Maybe the best stout I have had that is not listed as Imperial Stout.
