This is a cider, but better and less carbonated than your average store variety. I was surprised by how little carb it had. Still, too sweet for my liking, and not very reminiscent of beer.

Cloudy golden colour with a slight orange tint. Served with a slice of lemon dropped inside the beer. A very 'wheatie' beer full of the characteristics keen on wheats. Banana flavours show through and so do the lemony twangs. A good representation of a summer beer, and a definate winner from the brewery. I sampled this one at the Rochester location.

Had at the Rochester location. Good colour, a somewhat hoppy smell, but more subtle than most Pales. A good overall beer, but the aftertaste is lacking and only hop flavours really show through. A good one to try if you are at one of the locations, but more of an APA instead of an IPA.

Sampled at the Syracuse location. Extremely pale, no head; faint nose; lightly acidic palate - celery, honeydew melon; very light body, lacking complexity so it comes off like a really lousy beer with aspirations to bigger things. In that regard it''s a let down, but with this style I''m getting the impression that it is a fine line.

Sampled at the Syracuse location. Amber colour; rich, hoppy depths; kiss of sweet malts. Good balance, maybe 32 IBUs, like a mid-range Czech 12 degree.

Sampled at the Syracuse location. Black; milk chocolate & cocoa aroma; thick malt flavours - chewy and sweet. Some could really get into this, but after drinking Smutty Robust all last winter this seems simple in comparison.

Sampled at Syracuse location. Dark amber, cloudy; lots of bubblegum, banana, papaya in both aroma and palate. No real dark malt presence. Light yeastiness in the finish. With this beer I have now sampled more American beers than Canadian. This might flip flop the next little while, of course, but a big turning point in my beer tasting.

Sampled at the Syracuse location. Light bronze colour; fruity, citric hop nose (cascades); good quality bitterness - not overpowering but gives it a nice bite; after this, however, there is nothing else. Needs complexity and more malt.

Sampled at the Syracuse location. Amber; caramelly, slightly earthy nose; spritzy body, hint of smoke; dryish finish, and fruity hops coming in very late.
