Cask @ Salopian, the pub. Pours black thin pale tan cap. Aroma has nice chocolate coated toffee & roast. Taste is light, oily, with good semi sweet chocolate, toffee, soft distant roast, drying close. Good stuff

Half-pint, well kept cask ale at Pen-y-Cae Inn. Decent white head blanketing the glass. Clear golden body. Herbal hops on the nose, pale malty notes. Taste of citric hops and mid-sweet malts. Distant fruit bitterness to the ending. Smooth mouth feel. Fair enough. (Glamorgan, Penycae 02.10.2018).

Cask at the Post Office Vaults, Brum. Pours very dark brown with a small head. Aroma is hoppy cocoa, Simcoe hops. Taste has beefy chocolate to start with a fruity chocolate finish.

[ As Grey Trees Diggers Gold ].Clear medium yellow colour with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, fruity malt, citrus, fruity hops, peach - pineapple. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average to long duration, pale malt, fruity malt, peach, fruity hops. Cask-conditioned, on gravity, at the Drapers' Arms, Bristol 24/3/1018. Deep amber in colour with a slight, off-white, head. Hedgerow fruits, a touch of caramel, leafy hops, slightly toasty malts, leading to a moderately bitter finish. Fine.
