25/1/2019. Cask at the 10th Elysian Winter Beer Festival. Pours clear, dark gold with a bubbly white head. Aroma of hops, malt, fruit and caramel. Medium sweetness, moderate bitterness. Moderate body, slight oily texture, soft carbonation. Quite bland and didn't seem especially fresh.

17/10/2018. Cask at the Robin Hood Beer & Cider Festival 2018, Nottingham. Pours black with a small beige head. Aroma of roasted malt, chocolate, caramel, light coffee, fruit and veg. Medium plus sweetness and moderate roasted bitterness. Medium body, slight oily texture, very soft carbonation.

Handpull cask at the Needle and Pin, Loughborough. Golden brown with a big and slightly loose off-white head. Buttered toast, nuts and sweet malt in the aroma. Hoppy bitter taste overriding the sweetness of the malt. Long finish with sharp woody hop in foreground. A bit green but well-balanced and very tasty.
