500ml bottle from a beer shop in Buxton. Pours a clear yellow. Mild minty nose, with freshly picked garden mint coming through to taste alongside some medium sweet apple fruit. Generally clean with a mild acidity. Quite nice. Probably goes well with lamb.

500ml bottle shared with Soph in front of Portland Lighthouse on the Dorset coast. Clear pinkish red appearance. Aroma of gentle red berries. Light and breezy on the palate, clean and pleasantly sweet with gentle red berries providing much of the character, with some soft juice and tart moments. Suited the situation nicely.

On tap at The Made Inn Ashford Clear red deep colour bubbly head. Odd sweet berry and then some agricultural cider aroma. mint on aroma too. oh that's weird. the vase cider is very agricultural. no need for the mint. berry flavour is a bit artificial. dry finish. odd. not sure it all works.

500ml bottle shared with Soph, paddling down the River Severn on the Seahawk 4. Pours gold. Pleasant medium fruit on the nose. Taste brings a nice balanced medium dry, a touch coarse at times but in a good way of course. Good stuff.

500ml bottle from Orchard Explorers. Golden colour, white foam head that dissipates away and aroma of fresh mint, apple, alittle funk. Taste is sweetish, apple, mint, with some underlying funk and drying tannins. Medium bodied, light to medium carbonation, dry tannic finish. Abit of a strange combination, its like drinking cider straight after brushing your teeth!
