[ As Cwrw Ial Haf Gwyn ].Light unclear medium orange yellow color with a small to average, frothy - fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, straw, pale malt, earthy - plastic. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average to long duration, plastic, pale malt, fruity, earthy notes. Body is medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20141010]

[ As Cwrw Ial Pothole Porter ].Clear dark red brown color with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, caramel, candy, sweet malt, raisin. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light bitter with a average to long duration, fruity, roasted, chocolate, sweet malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20141009]

Cask on gravity at the Great Welsh Beer Festival, Cardiff, 5/11/2015. Near black in colour, with a slight, beige, head. Plenty of chocolate character, nicely roasted malts, a touch of hop and leafy finish. Enjoyable.

Cask @ Fox and Goose, Hebden Bridge. Clear copper with a thin head. Has a floral aroma, with a floral-hop taste, but not high on flavours. There’s a light sweetness here too.
