Sampled from bottle at THT March at Kwartje. Black with cream head. Big sweet deep roasted chocolate malts, some balsamic and rotten wood in the distance. Dark fruits, licorice. Big sweet and faint sour and light bitter. Full body, soft carbonation. Nice complexity.

Bottle shared at THT. Black with light brown head. Red berries and blackberries, red wine, coffee beans, cocoa, leather, tobacco, light whisky. It’s quite fruity with some roast and coffee. Medium sweet, under medium bitter and very light sour. Full bodied.

Bottle shared at THT. Near black with a small tan head. Aroma of boozy barrel, alcohol, oak, chocolate, tobacco, caramel, toffee and malt. Flavour is heavy sweet and moderate to heavy bitter. Full bodied with soft carbonation.

Bottle shared at THT. Very hazy dark golden with a white head. Aroma of citrus, lychee, peach, melon and light caramel malt. Flavour is light moderate sweet and above moderate bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Bottle from Drinks & Gifts, batch 23 BB 7-2017, 37.5 cl sample. Hazy amber color, short frothy head. Aroma of lots of tropical fruit, melon and lychee. Also slight toffee. Tropical fruity bitterness, which is quite soft and smooth, juicy thick toffee sweetness. Slight harsh in the palate of a little bit of green hop together with slight yeasty notes. Doesnt feel like 7%. Decent.

Bottle at home. Quite enthusiastic pour. Black with huge light tan head. Deep roasted chocolate malts, lots of espresso roast, almond nuttiness, dark fruitiness. Medium sweet and moderate bitter. Over medium body, soft (but a lot of) carbonation. Great complexity and taste balance. Very easy to drink. Just very well done.

Bottle at home. Bit murky amber with firm white head. Sweet malts, grapefruit, peach, pineapple, mango, marijuana, milkiness, resin, honey sweetened tea. Moderate sweet and over medium bitter. Over medium body and soft carbonation. Dense sweet fruitiness and skunkiness with just right amount of crisp nettle bitterness.
