Description
We are always busy creating taste sensations, always looking for improvements or new flavours and optimizing our beers. Our beer is pronounced, complex, balanced, often full and soft in texture. We don’t brew beer for everyone, we only brew beer for people who love pronounced flavours. We do this by constantly tinkering with our recipes in search of perfection, we want to brew beer that is considered legendary. One has to tell stories about how great the beer of the Moersleutel is. Anyone who drinks our beer must be spoiled for life and must want nothing more.

Tap @ TAB. Almost black color. Rather dense beige head with good retention. Aroma’s: roast, drop/licorice, a bit salty/umami. Retronasal there’s roast, mocha, chocolate, tar and tobacco. Roasted flavor with just light sweetness. Medium bodied. Finishes with lots of roast, quite bitter. Good!

Tap @ TAB, small sample. Milky/cloudy yellow color. White head (not much). Aroma’s: hop hops, citrus, tropical fruit.. Retronasal there’s a lot of hoppy acidity and resin. Flavor is full of hops, without it being outspoken bitter or sour. Light bodied. Good carbonation. Finishes grainish and herbal bitter. Nice and refreshing. And again: a good burp.

--- Beer merged from original tick of Motorolie 10 (Barrel Aged Bourbon Ancient Age ) on 25 May 2018 at 14:07 - Score: 7

375 ml bottle @ home, on a hot Summer’s night. Cloudy amber color. Frothy white head, not too much. Aroma’s: resin from the bottle, then after pouring lovely citrus aroma’s with tropical fruit and resin. Lots of hoppy acidity retronasal, to the point of being sour. Flavor is moderate bitter, juicy hops, light malts. Light to medium bodied. Finishes hoppy, but only moderate bitter. Nice one! Good burp as well...

Bottle shared @ home, brought by Skortila. Black color. No head to speak of. Aroma’s: roast, umami. Retronasal it’s umami, drop/laurel, a bit vla. Flavor is moderate sweet, alcoholic. Body is medium to full. Finishes with roast, ash, light bitter. I would like a full retry by itself.

Bottle thx to skortila, small sample. Thick black pour, small lacing. Aroma of roast, tar, licorice, bit coffee and dark choc, slight booze. Thick velvety body. Tar, slick motoroil, lots of roast and licorice. Could have used a bit more cokie and vanilla from bourbon, now its just some booze. Good start for a new brewery.
