Description
We are always busy creating taste sensations, always looking for improvements or new flavours and optimizing our beers. Our beer is pronounced, complex, balanced, often full and soft in texture. We don’t brew beer for everyone, we only brew beer for people who love pronounced flavours. We do this by constantly tinkering with our recipes in search of perfection, we want to brew beer that is considered legendary. One has to tell stories about how great the beer of the Moersleutel is. Anyone who drinks our beer must be spoiled for life and must want nothing more.

Cloudy medium golden colour, small frothy white to off-white head, recedes to a steady thin layer, good lacing. Restrained fruity nose, aroma pale malts, orange peel, light peach, grass. Mild and smooth taste, light to medium sweet and light bitter, malty, grainy, light fruity. Develops bit more bitterness in the sweetbitter aftertaste, mild dry finish, touch of spruce. Light to medium body, oily texture, average carbonation, quite pleasant mild and friendly IPA.

Billynomates solo hotel tasting. Hazy gold beer, tidy cream colour head. Fruity hop nose. Palate is light, semi dry and has reasonable fine carbonation. Very light malts, reasonably sweet. Good hop fruits - Mosaic blueberry plus tropical fruits and a touch of lemon. A light tang on all of it. Finishes light with mild pine and skunk. Good.

Bottle picked up from Dorst Craft Beer shop, consumed at home Thursday 6th October 2016 Pours gold, slight haze, big hoppiness on the nose. Fruity with a bigger feel than the modest strength would suggest, good citrussy hoppy bite and nice bitterness. A6 A4 T8 P4 Ov14 3.6

Bottle picked up from Bierwinkel Alkmaar and consumed outside Frank at De Drie Morgen campsite, Nr Zoetermeer, Netherlands Saturday 1st October 2016 Pours hazy gold, hoppy nose, in fact really quite hoppy. Loz reckons it’s a little thin and at 6% I tend to agree that the body is lacking a little. Fruity, with a bit of citrus, good bitterness, really decent IPA, but could have been better. Bottle from Slijterij Wijnhandel Scholars, Bergen, Nord Holland, Netherlands, consumed at Frank (camper), Camping Strandbad, Edam, Thursday 29th September 2016 Pitch black with a slim tan rim, quite thick in the mouth. Cocoa on the nose but a touch of beefy oxo in the mouth, it’s certainly a big bolshy beer, there is a streaky fruity edge, bit like grapes or red wine. Very good. A7 A4 T7 P4 Ov14 3.6

Bottle from Slijterij Wijnhandel Scholars, Bergen, Nord Holland, Netherlands, consumed at Frank (camper), Camping Strandbad, Edam, Thursday 29th September 2016 Wow this is a hugely drinkable big, beefy 11% stout. Ok so there is a little warmth from the alcohol but it’s only a little, there is lots of chocolate, the Bourbon BA works well, it’s soft with a really nice creamy edge, super indulgent, you can pick out the hoppiness at the edges, this is a great beer, glad I have all 375ml to myself. .
