Description
We are always busy creating taste sensations, always looking for improvements or new flavours and optimizing our beers. Our beer is pronounced, complex, balanced, often full and soft in texture. We don’t brew beer for everyone, we only brew beer for people who love pronounced flavours. We do this by constantly tinkering with our recipes in search of perfection, we want to brew beer that is considered legendary. One has to tell stories about how great the beer of the Moersleutel is. Anyone who drinks our beer must be spoiled for life and must want nothing more.

Bottle. Black oily pour, brown creamy head. Aroma of creamy mocha, chocolate, caramelised malt and salty licorice. Taste has creamy salty licorice, mocha coffee, chocolate, caramelised malt and a bitter sticky finish. Nice and tasty, impressive for a new brewery.

Medium amber brown color. Apricots and stewed vegetables in the nose. Not overally appealing. Very clean, alcohol well hidden but strange use of hops in the mouth. Not bad.

375ml bottle. Pitch black pour with a fine-graned tan head that is slow to rise to the surface - it looks great. Notes of roasted malt, roasted coffee beans, dark cherries, brewed coffee, light citrus hops and some subtle metallic bitterness. The smell is great, the taste almost as good. Full body, medium to low carbonation and a roasty bitter-sweet finish. It kind of reminds me of the Scandinavian Russian Imperial Stouts by To Ol, Nogne O, Ghost etc. Really good.
