Sampled at NSF Den Bosch. Opaque black color, dark brown colored head. Nice. Aroma is malts, roast quite heavily. Flavor is malts, heavy roast, sharp roasted malt bitter, some alcohol. Not bad though, heavy roast RIS but nice. 8-4-7-4-14.

Sampled at NSF Den Bosch. Dark brown color, medium sized light brown colored head. Smell and taste malts, some alcohol but within limits, some roast, brown malts, a bit roasty, raisins lightly, dark fruit and dark malt bitterness. Barrel aged? Hmm yeah there are some influences but not very prominently. Pretty nice though. 8-3-8-4-15.

Sampled at NSF Den Bosch. Amber color, beige head. Smell and taste malts, sweetish, some alcohol, more alcohol, light notes of dark fruit. Hmm too heavy for me to like it really. 6-3-6-2-10.

Bottle shared. Hazy reddish brown with lively beige head. Huge peat, sweet malts, light alcohol, dried fruits, medicinal peat, sugary malts, some more peat, ash, dank spices, tobacco. Solid medium sweet and medium bitter. Almost full bodied. A bit boozy, and the peat overpowers the base beer, the spices and the supposed sherry barrel. It’s not that bad, but very one dimensional and this needs to be shared in a group.

Bottle shared at home, Pink Pepper tasting. Thanks to Maakun. Second beer with pink pepper tonight. Dark brown with offwhite head. Sweet boozy fruitjuice with salmiak and tobacco. Dried fruit, dark bread, booze, peat, raisins, hints of stool and fucking corianderseed, speculaas, anise, gingerbread. Quite sweet and bitter. Full body and soft carbonation.

Gedronken tijdens bierfestival Den Bosch. Kleur is donkerbruin. Aroma van hout, rook, koffie en chocolade. Smaak van koffie en rook Nasmaak van peper.
