Description
After starting on a small scale in 2012, the brewery increased to a commercial size and moved in 2014 to Ford, near Littlehampton. After a successful Crowdfunding round, work commenced in 2020 to move the brewery to much larger premises in the heart of the South Downs National Park.

22/3/2019. Cask at the 29th Sussex Beer & Cider Festival, Brighton. Pours very dark brown with a small bubbly off-white to beige head. Aroma of roasted malt, dark chocolate, dark fruit, nuts and berries. Moderate sweetness, medium bitterness and a light sour edge. Moderate body, slightly oily and watering texture, a bit above average combination. Quite traditional. Nutty roasted finish.

22/3/2019. Cask at the 29th Sussex Beer & Cider Festival, Brighton. Pours clear pale amber with a small bubbly off-white head. Light aroma of citrus, berries, malt, hops and light herb. Medium plus sweetness, moderate bitterness. Medium body, slight oily texture, average to soft carbonation. Fruity citrus finish. Taste is a lot better than the faint aroma

Cask-conditioned at the Imperial, Worcester, 5/1/2019. Golden in colour, with a thin, white, head. Yeasty stone fruits, leafy hops, biscuity malts with an underlying earthiness and a moderately bitter finish. Good.

Black with red rue and creamy head. Really nice roasted malt bitterness. Creamy mouthfeel. Just a bit weak.

Cask-conditioned at the Three Crowns, Chippenham 7/12/2018. Dark brown with undertones of red and a frothy, beife, head. Brown sugar, prune, some leafy hops, rich malts with a hint of toastiness and warming finish. A decent winter beer.

16th Oct 2018. Hand-pulled cask pint in The Cock Hotel, Wellington Shropshire. Black body, tanned crown of tight foam. Roasted malty molasses rule the nose and flavour of this easy drinking Porter, mild coffee and chocolate notes in both the aroma and taste, decent.

Forever Bury Beer Festival 2018. Clear darker copper coloured ale. There's sweet roasted malts in both aroma and taste with an easy-drinking texture, and a hint of nut.
