22/3/2019. Cask at the 29th Sussex Beer & Cider Festival, Brighton. Pours very dark brown with a small bubbly off-white to beige head. Aroma of roasted malt, dark chocolate, dark fruit, nuts and berries. Moderate sweetness, medium bitterness and a light sour edge. Moderate body, slightly oily and watering texture, a bit above average combination. Quite traditional. Nutty roasted finish.
