330ml bottle. Clear, copper-ish, amber colour with average, frothy,half-way lasting, moderately lacing, off-white head. Herbal, bitter hoppy aroma has notes of mint, menthol, woodruff, eucalyptus, cautious resinous background. Taste is bitter hoppy, delivers a copy of the same herbal flavours in lower intensity, some tartness, some resin, all integrated into a perfectly supporting caramel malty carrier substance. Superbly balanced, a fresh breeze like a fluid "Wick Blau" version hold at bay by "Werther’s Echte" - uuuh, no, this evokes definitely wrong associations. No sugar, all natural flavours - taste yourself and you’ll see what I mean... hm, well... this is Polaris... hm... not that bad... Polaris... hm...

Bottle at RBSG room tasting. Pours clear yellow white head. Nose/taste of toast, lemon, malty grain. Light medium bodied.

Tasting at the ever gracious ChrisO’s. Hazy pale gold beer, small bubbly white head. Palate is light and airy, little fine carbonation. Light malt base. Light lime led tropical fruits. Light semi dry finish. Not bad, nice fruity hops.

[ As Kreativbrauerei Kehrwieder SHIPA Hüll Melon ].Light unclear medium to dark orange color with a average, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly to fully lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, moderate to heavy hoppy, orange - citrus, fruity hops, mango, apricot notes. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, fruity sweet, orange, mango, dry. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20140424]

Tap@CBF2014 - fuzzy amber pour with white head. Medley of citrus and tropical fruits in both aroma and taste, lovely mandarin and grapefruit, some caramel, pine. Beautiful drop this.
