Bottled. Hazy amber, mid sized head. Rich aroma of lychee and grapefruit. Mid sweet with medium body and rounded mouthfeel, Lycheem apricot and grapefruits. Long bitter finish.

330ml bottle. Clear, amber colour withaverage to huge, thick, frothy, fairly lasting, moderately lacing, white head. Caramel malty aroma, some orange biscuit, fruity hoppy overtones somewhere between water melon and strawberry, a touch of bubblegum. Taste is moderately sweet caramel malty, fruity, notes of sweet red berries, maybe some melon, dry hoppy finish; very soft palate. Too sweet, too well-behaved, too gentle.

Nice creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is slightly fresh grassy, hops, lawn, leafs, sap, light malts, hints of tropical fruits. Taste is slightly sweet grassy, caramel malts, pine needles, sap, leafs, soil, hops, bark, grass. Medium to longlasting bitterness, slightly dry mouthfeel. Fair enough.

Bottle: Deep golden, hazy to cloudy, big and slowly collapsing loose off-white head, distinctive piney and slightly citrussy nose with a robust caramelly background; moderate bitter-sweet flavour, medium bodied and relatively soft; slightly lingering and dry herbal-hoppy finish with some fruity and some malty edges. Bottle bought at Braukunst Live 2014. Clear, amber body, with medium, frothy, white head. Aroma of strawberry, melon, bubblegum, some citrus. Tastes of grapefruit, strawberry, grass, some herbs, with a nice biscuit malt backbone. Mouthfeel is medium, slick, with a medium carbonation and it finishes medium bitter, dry, with citrus and herb notes. Interesting IPA, with a pleasant, unusual hop profile in the nose. Maybe too light, a bit "shy" in the taste, with too less hops.

Sehr fruchtiger Antrunk mit starker aber passender Bitterkeit. Melonennoten, vollmundig, unsüffig. Zum Ende sehr trocken, was erstaunlicherweise ebenfalls sehr gut passt. 11/12/12/13//13

Tap at BKL 2014. Amber, off-white head. Slightly candiish honey melon aroma. Medium body, dry sparkly mouthfeel. Fruit salad and berry jello base, pudding. Dry grassy finish. I feel Hüll melon needs to be combined with a fruity yeast.
