Pint on tap at Basement Brewhouse, Bankstown. Dark golden amber beer with a thin white head. Nice nose of tropical fruit and caramel malt. Light body and fizz. Good lacing. Bitter and cleansing at first, there's a hit of caramel popcorn before the herbal piney bitterness finishes it all off. Great beer, really shows that the brewers put some thought into this.

500ml can. Pours black in colour with a creamy biege foam head leaving lacing and aroma of roasty malt, chocolate. Taste is sweetish, dark malty, chocolate & coffee, vanilla, dark fruit with earthy bitterness. Smooth mouthfeel, medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry roasty bitter finish. Nicely drinkable.

Tap at Batch, Marrickville. Golden amber colour, white foam head leaving lacing and spicy malty aroma. Taste is bready, vegetal with tangy spicy green chilli notes. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry spicy chillI finish. Quite drinkable

(Can) Pours clear pinkish amber with good white head. Fruity aroma - passionfruit. Light body, well carbonated. Taste is tart. There’s passionfruit and citrus up front, with some hints of candy. Some bread / dough notes appear occasionally in the mid palate and finish. Tart, fruity, very refreshing.

From a 440ml can on 19/8/2018 (shared by Butz with thanks, ABV listed as 8.9%). Can is labelled 'Batch Trippy Hippy's Double Rainbow'. Pours a clearish deep golden with a medium head. The nose is piney hops and some fruit. Has a pretty fair balance of sweet fruit, some light honey, and herbal resiny hops, against a mild caramel malt background. Really began to dig this as it warmed. A very tasty DIPA.

From a 440ml can on 11/8/2018. not sure why it's described as an impy given the 7.3%. Pours a dark brown with a big tan head. Has a pleasant chocolate/coffee aroma. Flavour wise it's very sweet - primarily milk chocolate, with a hint of coffee and cherry. Has a creamy texture with carbonation extremely soft. My second Batch nitro beer, and I'm not sold on the nitro aspect. But the beer itself is actually really nice.

From a 440ml can on 11/8/2018 (ABV listed as 6.4%, can labelled Hoppsy Mozy). Pours a clear light golden with a small head. Has a pleasant enough fruity, dank nose. The flavour is quite sweet, mainly stone and tropical fruit, with a modest bitterness. Maybe it's a failed nitro experience, but it tastes pretty much flat to me, even if the head suggests some bubbles, spoiling what might otherwise be a reasonable experience.

Pint on tap at Basement Brewhouse, Bankstown. Black beer with a pinkish coffee head. Nose is expensive chocolate. Good lacing. It's a light stout with coffee and chocolate notes and a tangy cherry finish. Nice and fruity, needs a little bit more depth and body.

Won this can on RateBeer, cheers Dave. Shared it with friends on 9th July 2018 at the Shrewsbury Beer Exchange Group meeting in Chez Sophie. Very dark brown body, beige head. Roasted and toasted malts in the nose, the taste has coffee, chocolate and toffee flavours alongside a slight spicy note or two. Interesting.

Can @ monthly tasting, Chez Sophie, July 18, courtesy of Jeremy. Pours a deep hazed brown, pale tan head. Aroma is roasty, nutty chocolate malt. Taste is roasted grain, light espresso, chocolate, earthy pine hints, good layered flavours. Nice Black IPA.
