Review based on the BJCP2021 guidelines (style 21A - adapted: low alcoholic 0.33%). Can 33 cl - Batch L2023019 (BBF 09/2024). AROMA: medium to medium-high hop notes of pine, slight grapefruit. slight notes of plastic (HDPE). medium-low must background with a sweet character. APPEARANCE: light yellow color and clear. low white head with low retention. TASTE: initial medium-low hop flavour (pine and slight grapefruit), followed by medium must-like notes with medium-high sweetness. medium-low to low bitterness although finishes dry and at the same time with a sweet sensation. MOUTHFEEL: medium-low body with medium-low carbonation. slight powdery sensation with faint astringency. OVERALL: a low alcoholic IPA with some distracting notes.

Cloudy pale yellow beer, practically no head. Aroma: little dirty, funky, fruity notes, some citrus, hint of kiwi, a bit floral, more fruity. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: pretty dry, lemony, earthy touch, some rhubarb notes, a bit juicy, very dry, sourish, nice stuff. Aftertaste: more lemony, dry, a bit zesty, good stuff!

33cl bottle from Jumbo supermarket in Stein, Netherlands. F: thin, white, quick gone. C: gold, hazy. A: orange, pine, tropical fruits, hoppy. T: medium to full malty base, citrus, tangerine, mellow tropical fruits, bit caramel, soft bit weak carbonation, not bad at all, enjoyed.

44cl Blik van ONP5. Veel te duur, maar toch mezelf maar 'getrakteerd' voor deze NA-periode. Zwarte kleur, beige kraag. Ziet er veelbelovend uit. Vanille, gebrande mout, koffie met room, komt op mij over als een klassieke Engelse laagalcoholische Milk Stout, hint van de maple syrup om de roast te balanceren, kaneel niet opgemerkt. Aangenaam NA bier, wel gewoon behoorlijk dun maar daar ontkom je blijkbaar niet aan. Heb bij deze de alcohol (vrijwel) niet gemist.

Can. Color: Hazy golden,white head. Aroma: Sweetish, fruity grapw and stonefruit. Taste: Also sweetish, green hop (floral), lightly dank and resinous. Fruitynotes of (over)ripe green grapes and peach, melon. Moderate to over moderate bitterness, over moderate to medium sweet. Bit sticky. Bit boozy, warming mouthfeel. Over medium body, average carbonation. Ok but too sweet for me.

Can 33 cl. Pours syrupy thick, black with an orange hue and next to no head. Oily curtains in the glass. Raisiny nose, overripe fruit and oxidation. Surprisingly not very heavy, flavor notes as above paired with molasses. Dry though, not sweet as the pour hinted. Plummy and mushy. Warming finish - if it doesn't exactly feel like 16%. Almost flat. Rather thick-set, just off-white head over very well-carbonated, fully hazy yellow-golden beer. Fresh lemony hops, lemonbalm, lemon sweets, blossomy. Grapefruitpeel flavour, but missing freshness, feels somehow sticky, syrupy despite the CO². Bit creamy feel too,. Aftertaste has mouldy lemonpeel, and hints of wild yeasts. Difficult to book. Not an IPA, not a sour, not refreshing, neither sweet. Txs to Stef
