On tap at Bryggerifestivalen. It pours a clear dark golden colored body and a dense, finger-thick off-white head. The aroma has caramel and a light fruityness and hints of grass and pine cones. It's medium to full-bodied and nicely carbonated, semi-dry and with a light bitterness. Caramel driven flavor too, with fruity, grassy hops in the back. Some piney notes in the finish, but mostly caramel there too. A decent Bayer indeed. 240801

Bottle, 75cl, at Bryggerifestivalen. It's a brown, unclear beer with a small beige head. The aroma has toffee, dark chocolate, some burnt malt notes and a meaty, almost soy sauce like touch. It's full-bodied and nicely carbonated, quite dry, with a light bitterness. Roasted malts, a burnt touch, toffee, dark chocolate and some brown sugar and meaty hints in the flavor. Lasting finish. Not bad at all, but feels a bit dull in a way. Still enjoying it though. 240801

330 ml bottle, as Dahls Eksport, from Vinmonopolet Kvadrat. ABV is 6.5%. Golden colour, moderate white head. Sweetish aroma of malts, alcohol, honey and newmown grass. Malty flavour, moderately sweet, distinct herbal hops in the finish. Not too bad.

Draught, thanks to yngwie for sharing at Bryggerifestivalen 2024. Fair white head over a hazy golden body, spotty lacing. Promising malt-fruity aromas, nuts and apricot. Well flavoured with ripe hoppy fruits, impacts of pineapple and apricot, offset by mid-sweet malts. Dry ending with bittersweet fruits. Well bodied. Good stuff, bit heavy to drink though. Draught, shared by friends at Bryggerifestivalen 2024. Bubbly surface over a misty golden body, lacing rings down the glass. Inviting aromas of noble hops and cereal malts. Malty flavoured, added by mid-dry noble hops. Cereal malts to the finish, distant notes of fruity hops. Clean on the swallow. Medium bodied. Satisfying. (Trondheim, 02.08.2024).
