Tap at Storytellers, Stockton. Amber gold colour with white foam head and citrusy hop aroma. Taste is malt caramel with citrus hop bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry citric dusty hop bitter finish. Quite drinkable.

Can 330ml. [ As North Brewing Co Herzog ].Clear medium yellow color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, grain, pale malt, grass, paper, light vegetables. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, grain, vegetables, pale malt, paper. Cask @ Piccadilly Tap, Manchester. Very dark reddish-brown with a small bubbly head. Has a milky aroma, milky-sweet roasted malt taste. Strongish but inoffensive.

Cask @ Old Gate, Hebden Bridge. Black with a creamy off-white head. Milky-smoothness is its greatest character, with inoffensive dark malts alongside some roasted malts. Easy-drinking.
