Chelmsford Beer Festival. Opaque dark brown beer. Residual pale tan head. Light palate with fine carbonation. Mild chocolate, not too dark. Nice fruit - raspberry and a little cherry and strawberry. Minerally semi dry finish. Very nicely joined up sweetish choccy fruit porter.

Clear but very dark red brown beer. Soft and dry palate, light. A wheat beer like bubblegum sweetness underpins some mildly sour fruit and creamy malt. Looks like a porter but tastes more like a wheat with some porter like characteristics. Decent.

Hazy gold beer. Semi soft palate but has a carbonated sting. Sweet and light beer. Banana and a little cloves and very subtle bubblegum. Very dry crisp finish.

Cask @ GBBF 2010, Great British Beer Festival, Earls Court Exhibition Centre, London, England.Medium to dark brown black colour with virtually none head. Aroma is moderate to light light heavy malty, roasted, berry - blackberries, dark fruit, raisin. Flavour is moderate to light heavy sweet and light bitter with a average to long duration, blueberries, dark berries, roasted malt. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. Cask at GBBF 2010. A pitch black beer with a brown head. The aroma has notes of soy sauce, chocolate, and fruits in madeira. The flavor is sweet with notes of roasted malt, wood, and fruit as well as lighter notes of madeira, leading to a dry, woody, roasted, and chocolaty finish.

Hazy brown beer. Very dry palate, turning creamy. Sweetish bubblegum and banana well integrated with creamy malt. A little tangy hop fruit coming through at the end. Dry creamy finish with a tangy - sour malt aftertaste. Unusual but a little over dry.

Eher milder Antrunk mit hintergründiger Röstmalznote, sehr trocken. Etwas würziger werdend, im Vordergrund steht nun die trockene und nur leicht würzige Malznote. Weiter trocken, etwas hopfig-bitter, im Abgang erneut herber. Das Röstmalz verharrt auf gegebener Intensität und rutscht dadurch etwas in den Hintergrund. Die permanenten Trockenheit passt überhaupt nicht, eine ausgleichende Note wäre wünschenswert. Ok.. 10/8/8/7/7/7

Hazy amber beer, good white head. Soft to dry palate. Frothy in the mouth. Sweet malt with a nicely judged amount of raspberry. Dry finish with an undertone of banana and a carbonated bite. Nice.
