Bottle 500ml.Clear dark red brown color with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, fully diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, shoe polish notes, light alcohol. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, coffee. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20100806]

Bottle 500ml.Clear medium amber orange color with a small small, fizzy, fair lacing, fully diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is light to moderate malty, sour, chlorine. Flavor is moderate sweet and moderate to heavy bitter with a long duration, chlorine, sour, dry, juniper ! Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20100806]

15th July 2010. Chelmsford Beer Festival. Hazy pale gold beer. Little suddy white head. Banana and bubblegum light nose. Light palate, low carbonation. Soft banana and bubblegum. No cloves but a hint of spice. Not bad.

Bottled. Amber colour, small off-white head. Aroma is wood, sour wood, some mild spicyness and earth. Flavour is caramel and bready malts along with some honey, earth and mildly herbal notes.

50 cL bottle. Pours dark brown with a small off-white head. Aroma is dark roasted malty. Dark malty and roasted. Slight liqourice. Bitter and dark malty. Slight acidic. Into a bitter and roasted finish.

50 cL bottle. Pours cloudy orange with a fully gone head. Aroma is acidic and hoppy. Acidic, fruity and citrusy hoppy. Bitter and citrusy into a bitter and dry finish. Ends citric.

From cask. Pours cloudy orange with a small white head. Aroma is mild estery. wheaty and slight fruity. Fruity and malty flavoured. Sweet and slight bitter, Dry and hoppy grassy to hayish into the finish. Mild estery touch.

From cask. Pours dark brown to black with a fully gone head. Aroma is dark roasted and mild fruity. Sweet caramelish and slight hops fruity. Mild bitter and dark roasted malt finish.

13th July 2010. Chelmsford Beer Festival. Opaque black beer. Pretty flat - very low carbonation. No head. Semi dry palate. Tangy dark malt with some good fruit going on. Good flavour for it’s abv and not bad at all.

Chelmsford Beer Festival. Clear amber beer, little suddy head that dies off quickly. Light but fairly dry palate. Dry even malt - fresh. Light tangy orange hops. A touch of banana in the finish and some bitterness in the aftertaste. Fresh bitter!
