Keg at PoW, Farnborough. Vague sweet citrus aroma. Slightly hazy gold. Thin white head. Some syrupy citrus and sour but throughout there's a quinine medium bitterness. Light-medium bodied. Thin. Flat carbonation. Astringent finisht. if this was Hammerpot's attempt to break into craft by flogging keg then you can see why they folded. Not a NEIPA. Typical English IPA - all bitter and little balance provided by the low key citrus.

500ml bottle conditioned: BB 28th Nov 19. Drank at home on 21st Sep 19. Red hue to the mahogany body, beige head that faded to a wisp pretty swiftly. Malty nose and initial taste, some good bitterness in the flavours too. Nice!

Cask (Queen Inn, Winchester) - Golden/light amber in colour. Peach, apricot and hints of golden syrup in the aroma. The taste is not particularly bitter or hoppy but has notes of peach, apricot, orange, biscuity malt and syrup. Inoffensive but not very exciting.

Gravicask, listed with 7.4 % abv in the program, at 37th Fleetwood Beer & Cider Festival. Shared with Finn. Near black in the glass, naked on the surface, a few spots on the glassware. Promising smell of dark chocolate and liquorice. Mid-sweet taste of liquorice and dark chocolate on a backbone of earthy malts. Slightly roasted finish, long-lived. Fine depth. A nice one.
