Bottle shared at THT. Bit hazy pinkish orange peach with huge fluffy off white head. Smell a lot like grenadine and candy, but when taking a sip it’s still super chemical but also watery and grainy and not nearly as sweet as expected. Paper, soft oatmeal, dust. Quite watery body. Yuck.

At Daverlo, Assebroek. Pours hazy dark brown with a reddish hue and a frothy, tan head. The aroma contains roasted malt, coffee roast & powder, spices (pepper), dark fruits and nuts. It tastes light fruity sweet and light berry-like sour, quickly becoming light roasted bitter; spicy, slightly roasted finish with some warming alcohol. Medium body, creamy texture, soft carbonation. Subtle and enjoyable.

At Daverlo, Assebroek. Pours hazy dark brown with a lasting, foamy, tan head. Intense aroma of roasted malt, nuts, brandy, dried & candied fruits, spices, caramel and port. It tastes medium caramel-like/fruity sweet and light spicy bitter, warming up to a woody and liqueur-like finish. Full body, creamy texture, fizzy carbonation. Give this to me as a nightcap every day and I'm a happy man.
