Quite surprised by this beer. Thought it would be just another abbey dubbel: taste, rate and forget. But this beer was a lot better. A very nice dark brown color with a dark red glow coming trough an a pretty huge head. Smell caramel, a little citrus, which you can also taste. Pretty good mouthfeel as well. Not bad at all.

Colour is decent, smell also decent. Not very special. Just another abbey double. Taste is pretty good though.

330ml bottle, by the courtesy of fonefan. Airy, lively white head, fine duration. Golden body, slightly hazed. Smell of sweet tropical fruits. Champagne-like flavour, subdued candy sweetness, lemony fruits and coriander notes. Smooth and a bit foamy on the swallow. Satisfying as the first beer on a Sunday in Copenhagen, 29.05.2011.

330ml bottle, thanks to fonefan for this one. Bubbly, off-white head atop of a dark brown body. Malt sweetish aroma. Sweet and tart fruits in flavour along with bread-like malts. Remote finish of spiced bitterness. Alright as a night cap at my hotel room in Copenhagen, 28.05.2011.

Slightly hazy dark brown beer, thick fluffy beige head. Aroma of caramel, malt, fruits, yeast and spices. Flavour is rather sweet, malts, caramel, bread, prunes and a slight spiciness. Bit sticky, like prunes, no detectable bitterness. Finish is quite dry with some lingering yeast and bread.

Bottled. A hazy dark golden beer. The aroma has notes of fruit, malt, and straw. The straw, malt, lemon, and hay, leadingto a dry finish. Thanks yespr for sharing.
