Description
A traditional expert cider producer run by a man who is genuinely one of the friendliest people that I have ever met. It's always a pleasure to visit. The cider and perry are some of the best that are produced in this country.

Had this polycask, gravity at Bromyard Folk Festival,Saturday 13th September 2014 Good fruity cider, nice appley nose, not too sharp or punishing in the mouth but it does enough to give the tastebuds and gums a good workout. A appley juiciness, tangy and good flavourful cider. A7 A3 T6 P3 Ov13 3.2

Had this polycask, gravity at Bromyard Folk Festival, Friday 12th September 2014 . Pours light gold slight haze, tangy in fact quite a twang. Good clean peary nose, really pleasant. A little tart and zappy but quite decent, more edging to med dry than just medium. A7 A4 T7 P3 Ov14 3.4

Now 7%. Hazy, pale yellow colour. Aroma is woody and has some barnyard and yeast too. It’s tart but fruity and refreshing. Not especially pear-like.

Polycask at Banbury Beer Festival, Oxon, 08-05-09 Pours mid gold with a good clarity. The aroma is very much calvados, but with a little bit of meadow. Some wet woodiness in the mouth little rustic, initial sweetness quickly cancelled about by a sharp tang and good dryness. My first from Barkers unlikely to be my last A7 A4 F7 P4 Ov15 3.7

Plastic cask at GBBF08. OK acidic aroma. Hazy yellow colour. Rough flavour, quite dry. A bit like bitter lemon juice.
