Tap. Hopfenreich, Berlin. #002. 5.5%. Dark orange. Full haze. Suds of lasting, white head. Not sure what hops are used here but it’s pretty dank and sweet fruit juicy. Lots of ripe berry. Sappy pine. Some leafy herb. Taste is mineraly and piny bitter. In fact it’s quite full on. Medium body. Soft carbonation. Lovely condition, as you’d expect. Mineraly and piny finish. Nice one.

From tap. Pours hazy orange with a huge white head. Aroma is toasted malty and slight breadish. Bitter and grassy. Toasted, dry and slight bitter. Herbal. Bitter and dry finish. 75 cl bottle. Pours dark brown with a deep red glare. Off white head. Breadish, toasted and herbal hoppy. Dense malty, alcohol, solid hoppy. Medium dry and roasted malty finish.

From tap. Pours clear and golden yellow to orange. Small white head. Aroma is toasted malty. Slight grainy to breadish. Sweet, bitter and toasted. Dry and slight herbal finish.

Tap at the Hops and Barley. A decent amber lager for sure. Very simple but well done. Some hops coming through, knäckerbröd. Some limp lager finish.

Tap at source. I just say this is one of the nicest, if not the nicest weizen I have had. It has a gorgeous colour, very delicious unfussy taste. Big love for this.
