Tap sample courtesy of Simon at In de Wildeman. Black colour, thick creamy beige head. Aroma of soft grapefruit hops, moccha, coffee, cream, some toffee, roast, almost ashy. Flavour is light to medium-sweet, hard roasted malts, coffee, hint of moccha, bitter chocolate, nice mellow grapefruit hoppy finish. Medium-bodied at best, but a good creamy mouthfeel makes up for that. More a hoppy stout than a BIPA, but quite nice.

Perhaps best described as Brown IPA. Malty beer, with a taste of fresh fruity hops. Nice.

330ml bottle. Clear golden colour with very huge, foamy, fluffy, fairly lasting, minimally lacing, off-white head. Floral hoppy aroma, somehow perfumed character, minimally soapy, a touch of red berries. Taste is minimally biting bitter hoppy, floral, minimally piney, fruity hints of red berries; really bitter hoppy, minimally chalky finish. Relatively light body, crude carbonation is too prickling-lively.

330ml bottle. Clear, orangey, dark golden to amber colour with average to huge, frothy, fairly lasting, minimally lacing, off-white head. Sweetish, caramel malty aroma, a piney hop touch, fruity hints of raspberry, cautious spicy yeasty overtones. Taste is initially moderately sweet caramel malty with dry hoppy overtones, later minimally tart and dry hoppy, fruity notes of plum and raspberry, some husk, a spicy yeasty touch.

On tap at the Bockbier Festival in Amsterdam. Pours a clear amber orange with a tan head that dissipates to the edges and laces. Aroma has a good amount grass and raisin bread with a backing note of leaves. Flavor is similar with grass and raisin bread and has a hint of leaves in the finish.

cloudy golden color with big fluffy head. Big grapefruit smell, some grass, lemon, malts. Quite bitter, with just enought sweet maltiness to balance it. Slightly sour lemon/berries. Medium body, slightly sticky and lively carbonation. Would expect this to be dry, but it isn’t at all. Really like this.

Very yeasty, looks greyish with hardly any head, and smells a bit weird. Taste is OK, but I probably will never drink this again.
