33 cL bottle. Pours golden orange with small yeast sediments and a fizzy white head. Mild acidic cornish aroma. Sweet caramel malty with a light bubbelgum yeasty note. Bitter and mild spiced yeasty into the finish.

Bottle, 6.2%. Vinous and bready aroma. Cloudy orange colour. Small stable white head. Rough bitterness, OK drinkable, though. Sweet maltiness with some yeast and grain. High carbonation.

Bottle, 4.5%. Buttery aroma. CLoudy yellow colour. White head. Slightly buttery flavour. Not much else to say. Not exactly bad, but not good either.

(Bottled, ABV 6.8 %, BB 03/2009). Courtesy of bierkoning, ty Edo! Murky hazy orange color, small head. Fruity, yeasty aroma. Yeasty, a bit candy sugary, English hops. Weird bitter. Bitter?

On tap. Hazy amberblond beer, white head. Aroma of flowers, malts and hops. Flavour is bittersweet, a bit malty with some hoppy notes. Wasn’t as good as I hoped.

Bottled 75 cl
Courtesy of bierkoning, ty Edo! Murky nut brown color, quickly vanishing head, lots of bubbles. Caramelly nose with peanuts and dates. Medium to full bodied. Plum soap flavor, caramelly-kandy sugary, slightly woody. Finish is suprsingly dry with nutty flavor, hops and alcohol. In its sweetness this is quite typical strong Dutch ale. Not bad.

Bottled at Petalax Beer Festival. Hazy dark amber with shortlived off-white head. While the caramel in the nose is vague it grows rapidly upon sipping, filling out my mouth completely and dominating the beer. It’s medium bodied with an orangey yeastiness and restrained sweetness. It lies soft and easy in the mouth and finishes with some sugar and Poperinge-style bitterness.
