ABV: 3.8%. Clear medium amber yellow colour with a small to average, frothy and open, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, hay, straw, caramel, pale malt, sweet malt. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average duration, sharp, hay - straw, pale malt, light caramel. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20191011]

6/6/2023. Cask at the First In Last Out, Hastings. Pours very dark ruby brown with a small creamy off-white to beige head. Aroma of light roasted malt, caramel, chocolate, vanilla, dark fruits, light coffee. Medium sweetness and bitterness. Moderate body, soft carbonation. Decent fruity porter.

Tried at the Nottingham Beer Festival 2019. Lightly gazed golden colour with a white head. Aroma and taste are tart, tangy apple. Medium body.

9/10/2018. Cask at the First In Last Out, Hastings. Pours pale amber with a small off-white head. Aroma of caramel, malt, hops, fruit and a hint of chocolate, ginger and spice. Moderate sweetness, medium bitterness. Moderate body, slight oily texture, very soft carbonation. Malt, toffee, bitters to finish.

9/10/2018. Cask at the First In Last Out, Hastings. Pours clear amber with a small off-white head. Aroma of caramel, hops, malt, fruit and a hint of honey and chocolate. Medium sweetness, moderate bitterness. Moderate body, slight creamy texture, soft carbonation. Decent session bitter.

9/10/2018. Cask at the First In Last Out, Hastings. Pours pale gold with a small white head. Aroma of citrus, hops, malt, flowers and lemongrass. Moderate sweetness and bitterness with a touch of tartness. Moderate body, oily texture, very soft carbonation. Ok though possibly not at its prime.
