Description
Gebrouwen door Vrouwen (Brewed by Women) originated as a hobby of two sisters from Amsterdam. They started brewing beer in 2013, at home in a 35 liter pan. They mastered the brewing process through trial and error. Now they know exactly how to make a fresh, sweet and tasty beer. At home they continue to experiment to keep creating new beers. The best beers are brewed in large quantities for everyone to enjoy!

Frischer, kräutrig herber Antrunk. Süßlich, Noten von Mandarinen, spritzig, etwas hefig. Die Süße bleibt konstant, insgesamt etwas monoton. Mittellanger kräutriger Nachhall. Okay. 8/9/9/9/8/9

6 2 5 3 12 Draft @ Wild West Brewfest ’17. Cloudy golden color> Dense almost white head with good retention. Aroma’s of ginger and wort/grain. Retronasal it’s ginger, light sweet, fruity. Not much flavor at all, almost neutral. Light bodied. Ginger causes sharp mouthfeel throughout. Finishes herbal, spicy/sharp.

33cl Bottle from Hoop. Hazy golden colour, white head. Aroma of a bit of wheat, some butter, yeast, tiny hint of orange peel. Flavour is light to medium sweet, light yeasty, a bit fruity, wheat, hint of butter, light bitter finish. Light bodied. Not much going on here, plain and boring tbh. 536310

6 3 5 2 11Bottle shared at THT July. Hazy golden with a white head. Aroma of massive ginger, nothing else going on past the ginger onslaught. Flavour is light to moderate sweet and bitter. Light to light medium bodied with a ginger burn in the finish, watery palate and soft carbonation.

Slight hazy dark golden with fizzy white head that lasts just a few seconds and leaves no trace. Doesn’t look like beer... Massive finger up front, lemon peel and a bit of dust and caramel. More ginger. Ginger tea. Light sweet and bitter. Over light bodied with burning ginger finish. Quite burning actually. Like a bad ginger beer, this is not good and it’s also not a pale ale but Spicy/Herb/Vegetable

Medium snowwhite head, irregular, over slightly hazy orange-golden beer. Fruity nose, fruit chewing gum, some aroma that would be elderflower, and one very closely resembling coriander. More of the same in the mouth; flavour is very outspoken and give a bitterish near-astringent impression. Dry finish. Fruit without classical fruit features. Light body, good carbonation, quite slick. In the end it is stereotypical... perfumey! I’d hoped for better these days.
