Description
Gebrouwen door Vrouwen (Brewed by Women) originated as a hobby of two sisters from Amsterdam. They started brewing beer in 2013, at home in a 35 liter pan. They mastered the brewing process through trial and error. Now they know exactly how to make a fresh, sweet and tasty beer. At home they continue to experiment to keep creating new beers. The best beers are brewed in large quantities for everyone to enjoy!

Bottle @ home. Hazy amber colour with a medium sized offwhite head. Smells sweet, pumpkin spices, malty. Tastes sweet, malty. The pumpkin spices taste in mostly in the aftertaste with some nice cinnamon, pepernoten, speculaas. It’s kinda nice that this pumpkin ale is not as in your face as some other pumpkin ales I’ve had. Thin to medium body, soft carbo.

Tap at Lokaal Duinoord. Sweet caramel, soft bread, light roast, cinnamon, soft pumpkin and spices but not too strong. Light alcohol and a hint of cotton. Medium sweet and bitter. Bit over medium bodied. Actually not that bad.

33cl Bottle, thanks Henkie! Clear golden colour, white head. Aroma of elderflower, lemon verbena, perfume. Flavour is medium sweet, floral, elderflower, verbena, malty, light lemony sourness, soft bitter finish. Light bodied. Nice, but the elderflower becomes cloying after a few sips.
