Description
Gebrouwen door Vrouwen (Brewed by Women) originated as a hobby of two sisters from Amsterdam. They started brewing beer in 2013, at home in a 35 liter pan. They mastered the brewing process through trial and error. Now they know exactly how to make a fresh, sweet and tasty beer. At home they continue to experiment to keep creating new beers. The best beers are brewed in large quantities for everyone to enjoy!

Sampled from bottle @ Bier & Big festival Eindhoven. Lightly hazy yellow color, average sized white head that diminishes fairly quickly. Smell and taste malts, floral, lightly yeasty, lightly sweet, lightly herbs or spices. Decent body and carbonation. Not bad at all.

On tap @ Cafe De Parel. Cloudy yellow golden color. Dense white head. Aroma’s: sweet malts, coriander, but also vaguely those NHB characterics - light veggies, light plastic. The beer was still young, so it might be an indication. Flavor: sweet, malty, a bit herbal, light fruity sour. Medium bodied. Drinks deceptively easy, maybe also because it was served rather cold. Lasting finish, herbal.
