Bottle at home in London - sourced from Clapton Craft. Pours clear yellow-gold with a creamy, white head. The aroma holds sweet and lightly doughy wheat bread, some saison yeast, straw. Light sweet flavour with more wheat bread, a little meringue, melon, further wheat bread, minimal bitterness. Light bodied with fine to average carbonation. Decent balance on the finish, more similar characteristics: sweet wheat bread, mellow citrusy notes, hay, moderate yeast expression. Neat saison.

Bottle that we picked up in Solent Cellar, Lymington, Hampshire, consumed at home Saturday 25th March 2017 Pours hazy first piss of the morning colour without too much of a head, so again closely resembling that first piss. Not a bad beer at all, good first beer of the day, fruity, soft, a little sweet but otherwise very pleasant, drying a little at back end. A6 A4 T7 P3 Ov13 3.3

Picked up at Solent Wine Cellar, Lymington, Hampshire, consumed at home whilst making Vitello Tonnato Burger with a homemade Tuna and Caper Sauce and homemade Black Olive Dressing, Sunday 12th March 2017 Hazy warm gold with a sticky white head. Quite fruity, dry, crisp and refreshing, drinks like a decent lager, a touch hoppier than most though, a sprinkling of tropical fruits. Nice. A6 A4 T7 P4 Ov14 3.5

Off white bubbly head stayed well on a dark red/brown still body with quite a few floaters. Fresh, woody aroma. Very well carbonated. Sharp & clean on the palate. Medium body. Medium sweet with berries, grape, melon, & quite spicy. Well balanced. Solid

Keg at the Hanging Bat. Pours clear pale yellow with a thin white head. Aromas of banana, white bread dough, faint coriander seeds. Taste is doughy, light sweet, more coriander. Decent.

Hazy red brown beer, white head. Nutty, apple malt aroma. Sharp tangy fruit, nut, malt, hop. Dry, bitter finish. Lovely.

Keg at the hanging bat. Pours pale golden, nose is sugary, caramel, banana, taste is similar, quite sweet.

On keg at the Hanging Bat. Appearance - golden with a decent head and a slight haze. Nose - major banana note. Taste - more banana and slight coriander note. Yeah coriander keeps coming. Palate - medium bodied with a tangy texture and a long dry tangy finish. Though not as dry and tangy as authentic Belgian version. Overall - ode to Tripel Karmeliet it is! And it gets 80% of the way there.

330ml bottle kindly shared by Cunningham at Ale House, Chelmsford. Hazy pale golden body. Low white head. Bread with citric hints on the nose. Flavoured with lemony drops and grain. Mid-sweet fruity end. Smooth and refreshing. Nice (17.02.2017).
