Keg @ Tilt. Pours hazy gold, small white head. Aroma is familiar tripel esters. Taste is smooth, well balanced not overly sweet with well pronounced tripel flavours. Yep, another good one from L&G.

Keg at the Three Johns, 24/11/16. Pale golden blonde with little in the way of a head. Nose is pear drops, light varnish, straw, caramel. Taste comprises more pear drops, sweet, caramel, fruit loaf, stewed prunes. Medium + body, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Ok for style ... the sweetness doesn’t run riot but not something I’d go for again.

On the SilkTork Southampton through the looking glass tour. Hazy gold lasting white head. Saison yeast aroma. Banana ester saison. More like a weizen than a saison. Decent enough. Smells and tastes like a wheat beer.

Keg at Three Johns. It pours clear golden with a small white head. The aroma is sweet, sticky, candied apple, pear drop, banana split, marshmallow and white sugar. The taste is crisp, bitter - sweet, apple, banana, candied peel, pear drops, spice, alcohol, flump and bitter grass with a dry finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. A bit sweet if truth be told. Not bad.

The taste is crisp, bitter, sweet lemon, banana, some booze, cracker, cereal, peppery spice and straw with a dry finish. Medium body and soft carbonation. Decent enough saison, but no game changer.

Keg @ Tilt, Brum. Pours a hazy reddish amber, off-white head. Aroma is pleasant leafy autumnal malts, pine hop. Taste continues with some red berry fruits, moderately sweet yeast notes, leafy malts. Very good, flavoursome red ale.
