Bottle, 5%. Clear golden with medium white head. Aroma is malt, berries, spices, herbs, little lime, little salt and wheat. Flavour is malt, wheat, spices, lime, lemon, herbs, little citric, berries, little salt, medium dry, medium sweet and a little bitter.

Bottle shared at the inaugural Matteo tasting, 31/10/2016. Many thanks to Leighton for this one. An amber red caramel brown coloured pour with a thin white head. Aroma is sour red berry. Caramel malt vinegar, tangy raspberry. Flavour is composed of jammy fruits, brown sugars, lacto, maple, malt vinegar, Ramsbury. Palate is medium sweet, moderate carbonation, sticky sugars. Little woody oxidised.

Bottle pour at Shelton Brothers. Clean crackery malt nose with lemon zest and good fruit esters. Classic saison yeast nose. Peppery finish. Simple and elegant, yet one of my favorite saisons from the Festival.

Bottle from Mikkeller Bottle Shop, Aarhus. Clear dark yellow with a white head. Aroma is sweet, wheaty, citrus and coriander. Flavor is medium sweet and moderate bitter. Dry and moderate bitter finish with lots of salt. 041116

Bottle shared in London - picked up in the US. Aged a couple years. Pours clear coppe-ruby with a creamy, khaki head. The aroma holds some butterscotch, aged berries, creamy toffee, berries. Medium to heavy sweet flavour with chewy malts, toffee, ripe berries, figs. Medium to full bodied with fine carbonation and oily texture. Warming finish, sticky and sweets with more ripe berries, cherry, toffee, dates. A fun quad.
