Aroma is nice midget gems, seeet citrus candy, pale grains and a hint of brett on the nose. Palate is light, frothy, grainy, highish carbonation. Flavour is composed of light grains, hint of funky, airy, hint of dust, grapey little faint coconut as well. Nice complexity.

Bottle shared during Random Garbage. Pours clear gold with a lively, white froth. The nose holds pale grains, wheat, lemon. Medium sweet flavour with some dough, yeast, crackers, honey. Medium bodied with spritzy carbonation. Sweet finish, more crackers, dried dough, yeast, ripe lemon. Not bad.

Bottle big thanks to LKS. It pours clear rich gold with a thick white head. The aroma is grassy, grainy, bready, light menthol, straw, light spice, pear, apple, gooseberry, white grape skin, and melon. The taste is crisp, dry, spicy, hay, straw, grass, pear, apple, melon, gooseberry and white pepper with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate, foamy carbonation. Pretty ok, but no game - changer.

750mL bottle, drunk 8/31/16.
Good clarity, with just a light haziness, to this very pale, straw-golden beer with light carbonation creating a medium-sized, white head with moderate to low retention.
Super reserved, subtle nose has the expected lactic acid, though it’s not particularly big and tangy/tart. Lemon, wheat, biscuit, salt and/or other mineral is there, as well. I spent about an hour on this bottle, and I have to say, nothing really ever happened/evolved. By the end, it still smelled like light lactic acid, lemon and wheat.
In the mouth, it’s dry, lightly tart from the lactic acidity, with a strong lemony-citrus character and a very, very strong wheat texture and flavor that more than balances/soaks up the acidity. Fairly tight, natural carbonation and no alcohol or flaw. Simple, exceedingly so, which is fine, by why are they charging $14 a bottle for this stuff?

375mL bottle drunk 8/29/16.
Very minimal haze in this chestnut-auburn hued beer with mahogany tints and a beige head atop that is medium-sized and shows moderate retention.
Lots of bean, light acidity, vegetal and black pepper in the nose shows less maltiness than Reko, with only a very light, biscuity-vanilla character; much less of the honey of that one. It certainly smells fragrant, if rather light in the coffee department. Very earthy, dry, none of the black cherry, tobacco, plum and chocolate I’d expect. But it’s clean and though, again, I can’t identify it as a saison, it smells fine for what it is.
Same soft, well-attenuated, tightly carbonated texture as Reko, though less sweetness here and more earth, vegetal bean and grainy biscuit at times. The coffee just seems muddled here...very vegetal and dull. As well, there is borderline not enough maltiness on the finish which gets lightly acidic and husky. I like what they’re doing here despite this one not doing it for me, and will continue to purchase this series.
