Drought. Rich yellow with small white foamy head, dougy aroma, spicy sweetish taste, low carbonation, bitter finish. Reminiscent of a bitter.

On the side, the batch number says: 11.
This was poured into a tulip.
The appearance was a light hazy bronzed orange color. It started off with a soft foamy whitecapping mushrooming head. This head gently died to leave some lacing clinging here and there.
The smell had a dry sweet pear with light spiced apples and then a black pepper invading and combining substantially.
The taste was sweet and bitter at separate times but it does have a lingering bitter and bright citrus appeal to make me want to indulge in more. Thereβs a light lemon here and there.
On the palate, a light tartness comes into play to enliven a slight harsh carbonation to run amuck over my tongue and mouth. Harsh - only slightly. This one sat about a light on the body.
Overall, I say this was a pretty good saison Iβd have again.
