Cask-conditioned at the Seven Stars, Bristol 6/2/2017. Golden in colour, with a slight, off-white, head. Sweet cereal malts, some hay, touch of leafy hop, before a short, bitter, finish. Ok.

[ As Falstaff Edward Hicks ].Clear medium amber orange color with a average to large, frothy - creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, pale malt, moderate hoppy, grass, citrus. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, pale malt, citrus, fruity. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet with a long duration, alcohol, strong, dried fruit, caramel, sweet malt, bread. Cask at GBBF ’16, day two, 10/08/16. Golden blonde with a well appointed white cap. Nose is pale malts, bread dough, melon, straw. Taste comprises melon, pale malts, bread, toasted grains, straw, light lemon fandango. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close. Pedestrian gold.
