Bottle courtesy of Mike. Pours almost black with a short-lasting tan head. Mild aroma of chocolate, coffee and caramel. Dry, some bitterness to finish. Soft carbonation. Rather thin but quite smooth, pretty good as lower strength stouts go.

Cask-conditioned at Graze, Bath, 2/2/2014. Deep gold in colour with a slight white head. Aroma of pineapple, orange marmalade, grassy hops and a hint of pine. Flavour was sweetish, with some biscuity malts and tangerines, before a dryish finish. Well above the usual Bath Ales standard.

Bottle. Clear dark-reddish brown. Has a tasty mix of grain and roasted malts in an interesting fusion. Slightly sweetened nose and taste.
