Bottle from Rollings Wine Company, Harpenden. Copper-gold with no head. It's mildly fruity in both aroma and taste, but with a bitterness to finish that also points to this being a bitter in style, albeit with a low bitterness.

Bottle from BEER:shop, St Albans. Pours attractive chestnut brown with a lasting bubbly/foamy off-white to grey head. Aroma of moderate smoke, smoked meats, wood, malts and light chocolate. Medium plus sweetness, light to moderate bitterness. Medium body, slight oily texture, average carbonation. Smoked, chocolate finish. Pretty decent.

Medium sweetness, moderate bitterness. Medium body, oily and slightly watery texture, soft carbonation. Increasing bitterness to finish. Quite pleasant overall.
