Can from Cotteridge Wines, Birmingham and shared with the Bangkok crew. Poured a milky straw colour with a lasting frothy white head. The aroma is malt, big juicy citrus fruit dry hop. The flavour is moderate sweet, light bitter with a crisp, fruity, super fresh, light spice, big dry hop bitter palate and a long bitter finish. Medium bodied with average to soft carbonation and a long pepper spice bitter finish. Medium bodied with average to soft carbonation.

Keg at BD TH, 06/12/18. Black with a decent tan cap. Nose has a great coffee profile, dark malts, charr, chocolate biscuit, dried fruits. Taste comprises coffee grinds, roast malts, fruit cake, cocoa powder, brown sugar melt, light spice balance. Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a balanced warming boost. Solid well balanced coffee forward impy ... Neon Raptors best offering to date for me.

Keg at BD TH, 06/12/18. Black with a tan covering that dissipates to a swirl. Nose is chocolate, dark malts, toffee, dried fruits. Taste comprises fruit cake, chocolate, aniseed, light spice, roast malts, stewed fruits, raisins. Medium plus body, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a kiss of alcohol. Not bad.

Can from the Offie, Leicester. Deep gold, a bit hazy but not murky with a bubbly white head. Tangerine peel and passion fruit juice on the nose, with some heavy booze. Bittersweet taste with an unbalanced hop burn for the first few sips, but it mellows out a bit. A decent but unexceptional IPA from Neon Raptor.

Can from Eltham Wines, Eltham. Hazy orange pour with a white head. Aromas of orange peel, tropical fruit, grapefruit, pineapple. Flavours of pithy orange, pineapple, mango, grapefruit. Lots of bittersweet fruits in the finish. Tidy, tasty brew.

The flavour is moderate sweet light bitter with a crisp, fresh, grassy nettle, pine, citrus fruit palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Fresh fruity and with lots of body for the ABV.

ABV: 11.0%. Clear dark dark brown colour with a small to average, frothy - fizzy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white to light beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, coffee, strong coffee. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, roasted, coffee, chocolate. Body is medium to full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat, finish feel is warming. [20181021]

Bottle from Eltham Wines, Eltham. Jet black pour with a tan head. Aromas of dark roast coffee, liquorice, dark chocolate, woodsmoke, cocoa. Soothing flavours of dark chocolate, oodles of dark roast coffee, more liquorice, smoky sweet malt,cocoa. Long coffee linger. Long dry smoky sweet finish. Superb beer.

Smooth piney hops integrate well with a deceptively soft citrus that then sneaks up on you with a little peel bitterness. An underlying floral mango adds complexity. Smooth and mildly bitter spicy finish. Nice. Smooth and drinkable.
