Description
Trillium Brewing Company was founded by JC and Esther Tetreault, a young dumb couple in love, planning their wedding and dreaming about how they would spend their lives together. The desire to build a brewery was about more than just making beer, it was about creating a way of life and building a community with which to share experiences. A beer geek and botany nerd, JC chose the trillium flower to represent what we strive to bring to our beer and our lives: beauty, strength, simplicity, and balance. We operate a brewery and taproom in Canton, MA as well as a full service restaurant and brewery in the Fort Point neighborhood of Boston. We also operate seasonal pop-up beer gardens around the city of Boston under the Trillium Garden project.

Very starchy yellow with no head.  Nose is mild, citrus peel and grasses and straw, some vanilla and tropicals.  Flavors follow.  Feels adjuncty, a bit over done.  Stone fruits.  Full bodied, sweet.  Meh.  6 7 6.5 6 6.5

Lightly murky orange with some white head.  Nice nose, pithy, very citrusy, cracker and biscuit too.  Nose is clear.  Flavor falls off some.  Maybe it's a little old.  Chewy malt.  Very citrus.  Dried herbs and paper.  Medium bodied.  Some bite.  Falls off.  7 7.5 6.5 6 6.5

33cl bottle pours an inky, leggy black. No head. Nose has deep coffee and kahlua, port, csramel, chocolate syrup, some booze. Flavor has more. The chocolate and coffee and vanilla are also off set by black pepper and raisins. Nutty. Crazy long finish. Effectively still and drinks like a liqueur. I though I didn't like this at first but it grew on me.

Turbid dark golden white color. OJ, passionfruit and Apricots jump out of the nose. Light body, fairly juicy, but drier and less dank than I would want. Body is lacking a bit. Medium carbonation. Low medium bitterness. Fairly drinkable. Doesnt take me anywhere special, but perfectly fine.
