Can from the Packie
Pours a murky dirty yellow color with a huge bubbly white head that persists. Citrus tropical and stone fruit with bits of earthy bready flavors and yes gritty textures. Nice brew.

Pours murky orange into a tulip. White head with little retention recedes to hug rim. Mango, melon and tangerine aromas. Sharp and hot with sweet mango, passion fruit and melon upfront turning to dusty tangerine peel and pith in the lasting, earthy finish.

500 ml bottle from Canton brewery purchased back in August of 2023. Opaque dark brown pour. No discernible head. Aromas of roasted malt, coffee and cardamom. Flavor is more of the same. Sweet roasted malt, vanilla, coffee, cardamom and a hint of oak. Smooth and boozy. Dryish, bitter finish.

Sample at The Draft Room. Hazy yellow pour with a medium frothy white head that diminishes gradually to a dense film. Sticky strings of lace. Aroma of herbal hops, tropical fruit and malt. Medium body with flavors of grassy hops, stone and tropical fruits and bready malt. The finish is mildly bitter with a lingering fruity hop aftertaste. Pretty good overall.

16 oz can, courtesy of some nice customer at Mikkeller Vik, pours a clear blonde with a medium white head. Aroma has some crunchy bready malts, straw, and maybe a touch of woodiness. Flavour is dry, with clean biscuity malts, a touch of the foeder character, and straw. Dry and crisp. It’s alright.

473mL can. Pours clear blonde with a white head. Dry grass, straw, cracker malts on the nose. Flavour has dry grass, straw, a bit peppery, cracker malts, a bit skunky. Not bad.

Panda courtesy of Theydon_Bois, cheers Colin! Black colour, thin beige rim and aroma of rich malt, roasted, dark chocolate, hazelnut, almonds. Taste is sweet, chocolatey malt, roasty, coffee, nutty, peanut, almond, dried fruit, sultana, with earthy bitterness. Smooth, full bodied, soft carbonation, drying roasty malty bitter finish. Very sippable.

Thanks to the random Swede who shared this with us all in the MBCC queue :) Opulent dark smooth chocolate, some caramel and toffee malty sweetness, full bodied, bourbon and vanilla into the lingering dark malty finish. Lovely.

Sample at the roost. Murky, but watery yellow, white head. Starchy nose, wheat and dried herbs and dried citrus peel. Dried pineapple. Flavor is weird, key lime and herbs, dried grasses and light grist. Feels old. Light in the palate, lightly fruity.
