Description
Trillium Brewing Company was founded by JC and Esther Tetreault, a young dumb couple in love, planning their wedding and dreaming about how they would spend their lives together. The desire to build a brewery was about more than just making beer, it was about creating a way of life and building a community with which to share experiences. A beer geek and botany nerd, JC chose the trillium flower to represent what we strive to bring to our beer and our lives: beauty, strength, simplicity, and balance. We operate a brewery and taproom in Canton, MA as well as a full service restaurant and brewery in the Fort Point neighborhood of Boston. We also operate seasonal pop-up beer gardens around the city of Boston under the Trillium Garden project.

16 oz. can. Pours a murky, orange color, with a fair, foamy, white head. The nose is peach, lemongrass, heavy rose water, and light passion fruit. Not too sweet, musty, with a smooth, bold bitterness. Medium to heavy body, dusty, and sticky. Assertive, wonderfully aromatic, and balanced.

Aromas are citrus pit and malt with hints of resin and MJ. Flavors are similar to nose and lean just slightly sweet. Good body and carbonation is a bit soft. Good beer.

Bottle at home shared at tasting. Opaque black color, no head. Unfortunately it is clear upon opening and smelling the beer that this one was heavily infected. Very tart, sourish, hardly any other flavors that were supposed to be there originally are detectable. Distant chocolate, bourbon maybe. Had to drainpour this unfortunately.

Bottle from the packie
Pretty clear deep purple with a huge rocky frothy white with pink edges, leaves lots of lace on the way down. Tart fruity earthy funky nose oh yeah that smells wonderful. Tart fruits dripping with earthy funk against a creamy bubbly mouthfeel. Very nice beer right here.

Canned 11/21/25, drunk 1/6/26, as pictured.
Super zesty citrus doesn't show any sign of the non-hop adjuncts. Perhaps just augmenting the spiciness. I suppose it does lend a rather herbal character with lots of pepper, but it works out and neither spice nor citrus dominates. Typical crackery malts with house yeast. Clean.
Similar flavors and other than a perfumey spice redolent more of lavender, I don't get too much adjunct. All sorts of citrus, rather, with light white wine and supple malt texture with dryness and cracker on the finish to keep it lighter and drinkable. Fantastic stuff! Very un-Trillium-like and really impressed how well this has held up at 2 weeks shy of 2 months old.

Herbal hoppy, tropical fruity, piney and citrusy with some grass, grapefruit and slightly dry green bitterness, hints of orange and floral notes. Surprisingly stingy.

Keg @ Juova, Helsinki.
Poured hazy and orange in color.
Pineapple juicy flavor, smooth mouthfeel. Coconut flakes, sweet nectarines. Oats. Not the freshest feel.

16 oz. can. Pours a hazy, pale, yellow color, with a small, bubbly, white head. The aroma is peach, quinine, mild spruce, butterscotch, and coriander. Off-dry and juicy, with a zesty bitterness. Medium body, sticky, and chewy. Hard, bold, and tasty.

Punchy juicy fruity wuh lots of melon and lychee, mango and white grape, Tropicana juice, minerals, soft sweetish malty backbone, touch of spring onion, quite a dry edge into the solid dank sided hoppy finish. Good stuff.
