Description
Founded in 2005. There are plans to re-establish a brewery in Alnwick . Later the Brewery moved to premises just outside Alnwick after being taken over by Harry Hotspur Holdings. They provide beers for sister company Lindisfarne, they also utilise brands Hawk Wing Beers and VIP.
We are owned and managed by Harry Hotspur Holdings a niche investment company with a vision to “preserve the past and build the future” for niche food and drinks businesses in Northumbria. In the portfolio there is also; Lindisfarne Limited famed for their world famous meads and also the Alnwick Rum Company.

Bottle from Taste of Northumbria. Appearance - golden with a rapidly disappearing head. Nose - lemon and malt. Sweetcorn if you search for it. Taste - more corn and lemon. Palate - light bodied, tangy and fairly dry. Overall - ok.

Bottle thanks to Ashton McCobb. Pours clear pale gold with a short-lived thin white head. Aromas of cooked corn and light lemon. Taste is more cooked corn and faint astringent malt. Ok.

Bottle from Rehills of Jesmond. Appearance - golden and initially very lively but then the head disappears quickly. Nose - barley and orange. Taste - lemon barley water. Orange at the end. Palate - light bodied. Dry and tangy. Overall - ok if a touch single dimensional.

Bottle thanks to allmyvinyl. Appearance - opaque black with a lovely fawn head. Nose - caramel biscuits and honeycomb. Taste - more of the same bit add smoke and liquorice over molasses. Palate - medium bodied with a creamy yet tangy texture and a long dry finish. Overall - nice.
