Description
Founded in 2005. There are plans to re-establish a brewery in Alnwick . Later the Brewery moved to premises just outside Alnwick after being taken over by Harry Hotspur Holdings. They provide beers for sister company Lindisfarne, they also utilise brands Hawk Wing Beers and VIP.
We are owned and managed by Harry Hotspur Holdings a niche investment company with a vision to “preserve the past and build the future” for niche food and drinks businesses in Northumbria. In the portfolio there is also; Lindisfarne Limited famed for their world famous meads and also the Alnwick Rum Company.

21/6/2021. Can shared with SHIG and Dana at the Suffolk Solstice beer share. Pours clear pale red with a small frothy off-white head. Aroma of raspberries, beetroot, citrus, vegetable, starchy potato. Moderate sweetness and light bitterness/tartness. Moderate body, soft carbonation. Nice tart finish.

21/6/2021. Can shared with SHIG and Dana at the Suffolk Solstice beer share. Opens lively. Pours almost clear very pale gold with a large fluffy white head. Aroma starts unappealing cardboard and wet dog, but improves, citrus, lime, yeast, flowers. Medium sweetness, light bitterness/tartness. Light body, gentle frothy carbonation.

Bottle from Northumbrian Gifts. Appearance - deep amber to brown with some red chinks. Big fluffy off white head. Nose - hazelnuts and predominantly toffee. Taste - bread, light nuts but mainly toffee. Palate - close to medium bodied. Creamy texture. Finish, a little sweet. Overall - a decent example of the style.
