Cask at Pied Bull, Chester Grass cuttings and a bit of pleasant hoppiness in the nose. Pours a brownish amber with a strong white head. Very thin in the mouth, just some lemony hoppiness. The pump clip says this is an IPA – I’m glad they told me, I would never have guessed otherwise ! [ Don’t agree it’s a golden ale either – more a bitter ] Bland is the word.
