Cask air pressure at Euston Tap. Clear pale brown with cream head. Overly perfumed. That is pretty shocking to be honest. Style fail. Some rose petal fruit touch of esters. But frankly this is rubbish. Yikes.

Bottle, courtesy of fonefan. A clear, dark amber beer with a small, beige to off-white head. Toffee-ish, biscuity and roasted with a fruity touch on the aroma. The flavor is much the same, a nice bitterness added. Quite dry, full-bodied and smooth. Pleasant bitterness in the end. A quite drinkable one, maybe a bit dry actually, but it’s quenching and tasteful. 110415

Half from the cask menu at Euston Tap. Rosewood coloured body, dense, fawn coloured head. Dark malts and dark fruits to the nose. Bready malts and chocolate malts in flavour added by a drop of liquorice. Bitter coffee ground to the finish. Not too thin in the mouth. Well made and easy to drink (London, 21.03.2011).

Kegged version at the Three Tuns, Bristol 19/03/2011. Deep gold with a tight white head. Aroma of coriander, honey and spicy malts. Sweetish, caramel flavour, with plenty more green herbs, oranges and some citrus hops, leading to a dryish finish. A bit too much coriander, but an interesting beer nonetheless.
