Cask at the Horse and Jockey; clear yellow pour with a thin white head, aroma has lemon and peach, taste has lemon, some tropical fruit action.

Cask at the Horse & Jockey, Lichfield, 27/02/2025.
Clear golden blonde topped with a just off white head that thins to a swirl.
Nose is orange peel, grass, melon, light breads.
Taste comprises tangerine, grass, soft malts, melon, light breads.
Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close spotted with modest hop bitterness.
Okay cask pale if a little pedestrian.

Cask at the Harp, Covent Garden, London. Gluten Free. Golden colour, white foam head and aroma of malt, grain. Taste is malty, caramel, fudge, honey, fruits, with some tangy hop bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, drying bitter finish. Quite drinkable

Cask gravity at Firkin Alehouse Folkestone. Dark gold amber clear colour thin white head. Decent hoppy beer. Decent pale malt. Good condition and temperature. A solid pale ale. It's ok. Some apricot flavour. OK.

Can at home. Slight hazed colour with a white head. Light grapefruit zesty and sweet. Light body.

Bottle at home. Aroma is dark malt, cocoa, creamy lactose, powdery chocolate, some roast, touch of dark fruits. Flavour is above moderate sweet and light bitter. Body is medium. Nicely creamy and smooth, a very fine Milk Stout!

Old rating from 2014 - 500ml bottle picked up on a visit to Bristol, Poured at home in Jersey. It's glossy black with a small beige head. aromas & tastes of coffee, cocoa, treacle & roasted malt. Moderate body. Long dry finish
