Cask by stillage at One Inn The Wood, Petts Wood on 24th January 2025. Almost impenetrably black with tan ring-and-film depositing spot lacing. Lush, rich roasty aroma. Chunky flavours in-mouth - rich and broad roasty kick and smoky transient. A satisfying finish of bitter chocolate, cherry fruits and smokiness. Bitterness developing late. Medium bodied with a smooth yet engaging texture. Very enjoyable.
