Bottle split at Bespin, thanks to LKS, 27/06/16. Golden orange with a well appointed off white head that retains well. Nose is orange squash, straw, toasted bread, light hop notes. Taste comprises orange pith, melon, straw, toasted bread, tangerine, mellow hop. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with light hop bitterness. Ok.

Bottle at Bespin, thanks to LKS, 27/06/16. Very lightly hazed golden with a decent beige cap. Nose is bready malts, toffee, light sweet notes, straw. Taste comprises caramel, brown bread, sweet malt, toffee, grain. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Decent enough for style.

Bottle thanks to LKS. It pours clear deep gold with a small white head. The aroma is sweet, bready, orange sponge cake, syrup, soft tangerine, cereal and muffin. The taste is smooth, mellow orange citrus, tangerine, orange sponge cake, toasted grain, cereal, straw, touch of alcohol, pear and peach with a dry finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Drinks pretty easy.

Bottle shared in W2 - picked up at Real Ale. Pours totally clear honey gold with a small, frothy white head. The nose has simple pale grains, light dough, honey, hints of caramel. Medium sweet flavour with touches of golden raisins, lightly toasted cereal, wheat. Light bodied with average, massaging carbonation. Decent balance on the finish, with touches of cedar wood, more toasted grain, cereal, a little honey, citrus peel. Pretty good stuff.

Cask at Simon the Tanner - London. Pours hazy yellow with a fine, creamy white head. Nice juicy citrus aroma, some lemon, pale wheat bread. Light sweet flavour with juicy, lightly gooey citrus character, more pale bread, low bitterness, lemon. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Alright balance to finish, more juicy lemon, light tangerine, doughy what. Not bad.

Cask at simon the tanner. A clouded dull golden coloured pour with a lasting loose white head. Aroma is earthy raw grains, wheat, white bread, sweet tangerine. Flavour is composed of doughy grains, earthy tangy tangerine, bready white. A little custard sweet vanilla. Palate is grains, medium sweet, lowish carbonation. OK. Bit rough round the edges.

Keg at the Bootlegger, 19/06/16. Golden blonde with a decent off white head. Nose is pale malt, toasted grain, melon, tangerine. Taste comprises orange pith, straw, lemon rind, light pine, toasted bread. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a balanced level of hop bitterness. Ok sessioner but not ’knock yer socks off’ stuff.

Bottled. A hazy yellow beer with a huge white head. The aroma has notes of straw, lemons, and petroleum. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, straw, lemons, hops, spices, and a bit of petroleum, leading to a bitter finish.
